They say that once you post something online, you can never take it back. Privacy issues are a huge thing with new media. On Facebook, there are a number of privacy options so that you can select what to share with your friends. Other people can see what youvomment and what other people tag you in. On apps like twitter and Instagram, you can put your profile on private and protect your posts so that only the people who follow you can see your posts. People can easily get hacked on social media which is another privacy issue that will always be around. Often times your pictures can end up on google with a search of your name. I try to be less public on social media sites because of future job opportunities. I’ve had my Facebook account for around ten years now so I have had to private or delete a lot of old posts.
